![]() ![]() The EULA does say they can cancel the service at any time, but that's standard boilerplate for these types of always online services. I read the EULA in its entirety and did not see any reference to in-game advertising, but it's a long document and I could have missed something. I do wonder with the always online connectivity, if there will be rotating ads each time you load the game/open the overlay, making this technically adware. In the game overaly, there is another advertisement for the company that sponsored the giveaway. Inside the game there is GameSessions branding, so this is clearly a build meant exclusively for GameSessions. After five minutes of play a pop-up appears informing me that I now own the game on GameSessions, as promised. The game appears fully functional (save for not having multiplayer, which is mentioned beforehand), and does not require either a Steam account or the Steam client. Upon launching the game, a brief advertisement for the company that sponsored the giveaway is shown. You also need to log into your GameSessions account before you launch a game. The game is locked to a proprietary client, which requires an Internet connection to function.
